ARK base has a vision to support churches effectively use their buildings and resources to engage and serve their local communities.
We want to help churches give back to the communities around them, impact our communities for the better, and leave as little footprint on our planet as possible.

In the projects we support, we don’t just want to be people that come into an area, believing we have all the answers and leave. We want to empower the churches we work with to be deeply rooted in the local area, having a positive impact on the people and the environment in their neighbourhoods.
Each year we reflect on the year just gone, measuring the social and environmental impact our support has unlocked within our projects.
Our Working Values
For each church we work with, we seek to embody four key values, helping church staff and congregations to reimagine their building in new creative ways that serve their neighbours.

We intentionally develop and foster community by connecting with churches, leaders and their congregations. We believe in building genuine and solid relationships, knowing this is the foundation for the journey we go on together.

We are passionate about helping churches reimagine underused buildings as spaces for mission and community. This passion flows from our Christian faith, which calls us to reflect God’s creativity and participate in His renewing work. We do this by equipping leaders and churches to engage their local communities with hope and purpose.

We want to be a courageous community that stands with leaders and churches against injustice present in the society around us, and demonstrates care for God’s creation. In order to pioneer new creative models, we celebrate the courage of those who seek to genuinely serve their communities.

We have a vision for ARK base to enable churches to be a force for good in their local area, to give back to the community around them, and impact our neighbours for the better, while trying our best to leave a smaller a footprint on our planet while we’re at it. We believe generosity allows others to flourish.
