St Saviours’ story
St. Saviour’s Church in North London has a history dating back to the mid-1800s, initially starting as a "tin tabernacle" before expanding into a Victorian-style nave and mission hall by 1903. The mission hall played a central role in community life, hosting various activities such as youth programs and charitable services. Over time, it became a multipurpose space but eventually fell into disrepair and disuse. When the parish relaunched in 2019, the church initiated a community consultation to determine the hall’s future role, focusing on addressing local needs such as supporting young families, combating isolation, and fostering creativity. This process set the foundation for the hall’s restoration and revitalization as a community hub.
